Please consider contributing to Calgary Animated Objects Society (CAOS)’s Grey Guardians project, which sends puppeteers into senior centres and community groups to teach older adults about online safety via the magic of puppetry.
CAOS just completed our pilot mission of touring Grey Guardians to 6 senior centres with over 150 attendees. We have had overwhelming positive response, and are experiencing a huge demand to expand the tour to new groups. Unfortunately, the project funding that launched Grey Guardians, only covers the pilot tour. By donating to CAOS’s Grey Guardians project, you will help us bring this fun and informative program back to the community in February 2026.
Grey Guardians combines education with entertainment, and encourages discussion, laughter and sharing via the magic of puppetry amongst a population that can sometimes be overlooked and isolated. Connecting and learning via Grey Guardians, helps older adults identify and combat online scams, and connects them to their community, which helps fight loneliness and isolation.
Donating to CAOS to support the Grey Guardians tour will support vulnerable seniors, will provide them with joy and engagement, and will support their safety online.
